Dear SLO Planning Commission,
I support well planned workforce housing. The City, SLO Chamber, SLO EVC, residents and business owners have all
pushed for the building of workforce housing. We have a project that embodies all of the elements that our City wants
and needs, and Coastal Community Builders has done everything they can to make it a win.
You'll hear many positive points about the project, but I'd like to add that it will house the people that we need to hire.
Our technology sector continues to grow, bringing higher paying jobs and family -aged residents to our restaurants,
doctor's offices, and parks. These families need places to live, reducing their commute and highway time. This project,
and the others like it, will still leave us behind on what's needed, but we must take the opportunity to recognize when a
local builder puts in so much effort to make a project fit a community.
Please accept and recommend swift action to help this project through the pipeline.
Sincerely,
Tim Williams
