I am unable to appear at your next meeting on these projects, but I wanted to pass on my advocacy for both. Our need
in San Luis Obispo for workforce housing is beyond critical, as I am sure you are all aware. I believe these two projects
provide good housing opportunities and will dramatically help build our community in the right way. People working in
San Luis Obispo will have a chance to live in San Luis Obispo.
The use of energy and water efficiency of this new housing, and especially as proposed in the Avila Ranch project, is
magnificent. I am hopeful all new projects will move in this direction. Everyone I talk with about new housing at a
reasonable cost feels that our city is now moving in the right direction. Please add my name to the list of supporters,
and thank you for your positive consideration.
