COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
Dear Chair Stevenson and Planning Commission Members:
Now that we have all been
exposed
to
Climate
Change and
the impacts on communities
it would
be
criminal
to remove a
grove of trees which is essentially a landmark for San Luis
Obispo. I will not go through the details as I am sure that you
are already aware of them, however, this group of trees which
is an icon for the City of San Luis should be preserved at all
costs.
Architectural structures can be designed to accommodate these
wonderful specimens of Nature that possibly could not be
replaced in the future. We are relying on the Members of the
Commission to accept their responsibilities for the future
existence of San Luis Obispo and its surrounding areas.
Thank you,
David A. Lind Brodie
Emeritus Professor of Architecture
