I am reaching out today in regards to the Avila Ranch Project that has piqued my interest. I was born and
raised in SLO, moved away for college, built a career in Seattle and am now looking to return to SLO and
set down roots again. I was surprised when originally looking for a job that there was a great deal of
opportunity with Mindbody, marketing firms and the tourism industry, all of which align with my sales
background. What was shocking were housing prices and the lack of homes available to my 20- something
self and significant other for ever relocating back to San Luis. I have had many conversations with friends
who still work in SLO, but commute from the surrounding area. Unfortunately, this would not interest
me, as I have lived the commuter life in Seattle and it is what is "driving" me away from metropolitan/city
living.
If there is any possibility the Availa Ranch Project could be affordable for us 20s almost 30s somethings to
set down roots, I'd be first in line!
Thanks,
Lindsay Cox
