Dear SLO Planning Commission: Kim Bisheff, Scott Mann,Nicholas Osterbur, a"C e ar, vnld
Malak, John Fowler, and Charles Stevenson:
Our city has made it clear that we need to prioritize housing. Workforce housing is the number one goal for the
City Council and it has been made clear that our residents agree with this goal. This project was identified as
one of 3 sites for workforce housing in the city according to the LUCE and this project is another step in the
right direction to ease this housing crisis we are in.
There are too many people forced to commute into SLO for work and it's creating traffic problems, affecting the
environment, and decreasing the quality of life for our warkforce. The amazing people contributing to our
economic vitality as a city deserve to be able to plant long-term roots here and be able to affard to live here, just
like many of you had the opportunity to do.
Please recommend Avila Ranch far approval so we can continue the progress of providing more housing to our
workforce.
Audrey Bigelow
San Luis Obispo Resident
