Dear Planning Commission,
We encourage your approval of the Avila Ranch development. As a provider of affordable housing to over 3,000 seniors,
disabled and families each month, we understand first-hand the housing shortage and affordability crisis our area is
experiencing. At HASLO our waiting lists are closed due to their length, and we continue to receive hundreds of phone calls
and walk-in inquiries each week from people that are desperate for housing.
Avila Ranch will help with our City's housing shortage. We are particularly excited about the R3 and R4 components within the
project, as well as the extensive opportunities for first-time homeownership with the small lot, small square footage for -sale
units.
The development includes an abundance of parks, riparian open space, bikeways and net zero housing opportunities. Please
provide your support for the development.
