I am writing in support of the Avila Ranch project.

As a 35 year resident, I have seen the lack of housing exacerbate the ability to attract and retain talented employees in San Luis
Obispo, force younger workers out of the area and negatively impact traffic by increasing commuters into the city. The Avila
Ranch project will help address our housing shortage, is located in a good area for additional housing and provides substantial
community benefits for the broader public and collective good; including the Vachell Road -South Higuera interchange, bike
paths, parks and energy efficiency.
For the benefit of all city residents I urge you to approve the Avila Ranch project.
