Good morning,
Our agency recently had the pleasure of learning all about the potential Avila Valley Ranch development. I would
like to indicate my support for this project. This development is an incredibly exciting opportunity for myself and
my husband.
We are both employees at Morris & Garritano Insurance Agency in San Luis Obispo. A company that has been it
the community for over 130 years. We love being able to work and live in a place as special as San Luis Obispo.
We have been renters for years and I must say that it has been challenging to continue to rent a house for of
monthly cost of what would be a regular mortgage payment in most cities and the lack of houses for sale make
it nearly impossible to establish roots.
I have complete confidence that the developers are addressing all the concerns outlined by any opposition, from
traffic to airport noise. I have been incredibly impressed by their innovative ideas and solutions. From a car
sharing program to bike paths and parks, I believe this development would bring San Luis Obispo into the
future.
We love the culture of San Luis Obispo, we love our careers and we would love nothing more than to join the
San Luis Obispo community as first time home buyers. The idea of Avila Ranch is the first time that we are
really seeing this as a possibility.
I ask that you give this project the consideration that it deserves.
