The San Luis Obispo Planning Commission,
RECEIVED
CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO
JUL 10 2017
COMMUNITY DfEVELOPMENT
As a resident of San Luis Obispo for the last 20 years and a current resident of Rollings Hills, I am perplexed that consideration
would be given to a housing development in the area that is proposed. The infrastructure in the adjacent areas cannot support
this type of project. The traffic is already a problem and approval of this project will only exacerbate the situation. I invite you
to "this side of town" at 5:15pm any Monday through Friday to experience first-hand the bottle neck of impatient citizens
trying to get home. I have personally witnessed road rage, several accidents and the delay of emergency vehicles due to the
traffic congestion. The master plan for San Luis Obispo should not include any more development until they first solve the
challenges of traffic management. Approval of this development will be a huge mistake and the responsibility will rest of the
shoulders of the San Luis Obispo Planning Commission.
