Dear City Council,
We are retired teachers who LOVE living in SLO county.
The city of San Luis Obispo needs more affordable housing for people who work in the city. We all know that.
San Luis Ranch sounds like a wonderful project IF they can stay true to their environmental plans and promises. And, if
they would include more low income housing... at least 50 homes.
Looking at the Web site, I'm glad to see plans for houses with a front porch. As you probably know, studies show that
communities with front porches become real neighborhoods where people get to know each other.
I hope the SL Ranch plan will also include neighborhood dog parks.
As new, first-time dog owners, we are amazed at the community building power of local dog parks.
