The various developments that come along from time to time in SLO are not always exactly what I would want, but the upcoming "San Luis Square" meets a lot of my requirements — more than most. WHY I LIKE THIS PROJECT: San Luis Square is comprised of 62 small residential units with pedestrians passageways and courtyards, 36 hotel rooms, 22,500 square feet of commercial space and a two level underground parking garage, located on Higuera and Marsh on the old "Fosters Freeze" site. It has a large number of small efficient residential living units, situated on upper floors, with office/retail space space below, all surrounded by generous pedestrian walk ways and small patio areas. Mixed in with that are a generous number of hotel acommodations. Local architectural firm Ten Over Studio, Inc. created a wonderful fly -through animated 3D video of the project, which I am sure you have seen: https:Hvimeo.com/133390742 I love that the development packs in a lot of downtown housing, while preserving massive amounts of pedestrian walk ways and alcoves! Thanks for listening. —Tim Waag, San Luis Obispo h=://www.tenoverstudio.com/sa,n-luis-Nuarel CONTACT INFORMATION Tim Waag home (805) 544-2109 cell (805) 440-9144 work (805) 783-2300 email: Waag©iverc amail.rom (general) email: BeveridgeR er—cmail.com (trips) email: Sallne'ValleySaltTram a&mail.com (salt tram)
