I am writing in support of the Avila Ranch Project.

It is vital to the sustained growth and productivity that adequate housing be available to the residents of SLO. This
project has addressed all major obstacles with positive suggestions and alternatives to any opposition.
We will never be able to return to the "old ways" of a sleepy farming community. We have to meet the needs of our
residents or risk having them move out of town in search of affordable housing.
This project will not impact traffic problems now that Buckley Road will be extended.
The project's walkability to various stores, bus stops, bike lanes and fire station will certainly enhance the active
lifestyle of our residents.
Having affordable by design housing is so important to families' ability to spend quality time with family and friends.
San Luis Obispo needs realistic housing and infrastructure changes to the city. This is the time to make this happen!
Please approve this Avila Ranch Project on Sept. 19, 2017!
