Subject:1135 Santa Rosa
My name is Cody Valverde and I'm a current employee at Stalwork construction. This email is in regards to the 1135
Santa Rosa building that is currently deemed a public nuisance. First of all and most important is Every single design
criteria the city specifies was met on this building; not some, but ALL. Also working for Mr. Kulick for almost 5 years I'm
sure he has exceeded all criteria, as he takes both design and structural of a building to the utmost importance.
I see absolutely nothing wrong with this building. It's new, fresh, eco friendly. its bringing style back to SLO. A complete
upgrade to downtown.
I've received countless compliments and zero complaints on thee aesthetics of this building.
So my question is, why is the ARC targeting this building? Because the color of the stucco? Because the beautiful high
grade clear cedar? Because the eco friendly landscape? Shouldn't the ARC be targeting buildings that are not up to code
instead of trying to find issues with a building that you will find no issues with?
