Dear Council:
Unfortunately, I won’t be able to attend the meeting scheduled for this coming Tuesday. However, I’d like to express my
sincere disappointment in the Architectural Review Committee.
This type of action by the ARC is unprecedented. 1135 Santa Rosa received a building final, occupancy, and full city
approval. The ARC request to have the building painted and tile installed on the March Street elevation is an abuse of
power. Every single design criteria the city specified was met on this building; not some, but all. The ARC is acting
completely outside of protocol, charter, and established policies.
