Subject:Item 10 on the 10/17/17 agenda (trail access after dark)
Good Morning,
Hope this finds you all well. This is Jadd Martinez, a local SLO resident/avid trail user/trail builder, emailing to show my
full support behind the proposed extension of time for open space access. With the time change approaching, and
working a full-time job like the majority of SLO trail users, there is literally no availability in the weekday to access open
spaces. Mornings can be difficult depending on the time of sunrise, and after work is nearly impossible. San Luis Obispo
is a mecca for outdoors activities, bringing countless tourist dollars in annually, and disallowing access to areas that bring
so many of us enjoyment because of the saltiness of a few residents, doesn’t seem to make much sense.
We appreciate your support
Jadd
