Hundreds of my customers as well as myself work during the day so during the week, our only chance to ride is in the evening hours. We are mountain bikers AND we are responsible, tax paying, employed adults with families who are good stewards of the land and are cautiously sensitive to both wildlife and other trail users. Most of us are in our 40's and 50's, and we wear bells on our bikes and use the trails responsibly and courteously. Riding at night may even impact the trail system less, because most hikers use the trails during the day. Another important point to make is that myself and many of my customers have volunteered hundreds of hours at numerous work days in the City and many of us are members of CCCMB. Additionally, before or after evening rides, mountain bikers like myself and my customers are contributors to the local economy, spending money at San Luis restaurants and gas stations. I urge you to call my bike shop in Santa Maria with any questions you may have. Thank you very much for your consideration of this important decision that impacts hundreds and hundreds of local, active citizens. Chuck Cryor Pedal Power Bicycles, Santa Maria, CA (805) 349-2294 1
