I hope you find these new communities offered to fit within the guidelines and conditions of the OASP.
Personally I believe the different square footage home sizes of approx. 1,600 to 2,400 square feet, the lot sizes, home
styles, open space areas, multi modal connections etc... fit well within the existing neighborhoods along Tank Farm Rd.
as well as the further build out of this entire area.
In my opinion the rear yard setback exceptions as noted in the staff report on a very few lots compared to the overall
number of lots appears to have no adverse affects to the overall subdivision and I believe should be considered to
approved without any changes.
Under the "Lot Site Design and Building Configuration" if I read it correctly, will allow a street view to the homes that will
minimize the typical subdivision view of garage doors on every lot as you drive down the street. If this is correct, I would
rather see front of homes and landscaping than driveways and garage doors of every home facing the street. I believe
this was approved/encouraged with other recent subdivision approvals.
I think these are well planned communities, being developed in an area that is specific to housing in good proximity to
shopping and jobs.
Thank you for your consideration of my thoughts. I hope you can find a way to move this forward.
