Are they politicians or citizens sharing their talents and concerns to help SLO continue to be a vibrant healthy town? 2.Is the money a "stipend"? In other words, distinct from a wage or salary because it is not payment for work performed, instead, it is payment that allows one to be exempt partly or wholly from a salaried position in order to take on a roll that is not normally paid? (Source: Wikipedia) 3.Can we all agree that CC is under compensated now? 4.Should benefits be increased along with the stipend/pay? For example, an allowance that is paid to cover assumed expenses (no documentation required)? 5.Should adjustments to monthly allowance be adjusted according to the CPI for urban consumers? If so, how often? 6.Are there tax advantages to CC members if money received is categorized as an "allowance" or "expense" reimbursement?
