Subject:Extended Hours Biking and Hiking SLO
To Whom It May Concern:
I am an avid outdoors enthusiast and active community member here in beautiful San Luis Obispo. I attend California
Polytechnic State University where I study Environmental Engineering and compete on the Club Cycling Team. Trail
usage around this area is of upmost importance for me and leading a healthy lifestyle. It can be incredibly difficult to find
time to hit the trails that doesn't conflict with classes, work, and extracurricular activities. That is why I, along with the
Cal Poly Cycling Team, would appreciate the extension of trail hours. Furthermore, what better way to promote healthy
choices of night hiking and exercising with friends above underage drinking and partying than allowing access to the
trails at later hours.
