Subject:Protect Our Open Space
Dear Mayor Harmon and City Council Members,
Please preserve the open space and nature preserves.
The current hours of accessibility are not only adequate, they
protect the wildlife and the tranquilty of our town.
Increasing the hours to accommodate a very small portion of
vocal constituents is contrary to protecting the environment.
As I have stated in the past, allowing evening access will also
have a negactive impact on emergency services.
In addition, criminal activity is on the rise. Unsuspecting hikers
and bikers will make prime targets for those who are looking for
opportunites for either theft or assault.
For years residents have supported the protection of open
space. Please strengthen those protections rather than weaken
them.
Thank you.

residents of this city. There’s no end to that kind of "Reach
