Subject:Bike SLO County Update
Mayor Harmon and Council members,
I wanted to thank you for your leadership and thoughtfulness on the recent decision regarding the Anholm Bikeway
plan. I know you have worked closely with our executive director Mike Bennett in looking at potential solutions that
work for cyclists and the community on this issue. I wanted to let you know that he has stepped down from his role. He
has several opportunities to work with students and at-risk veterans, which is a way to contribute to the community that
is closer to his passion.
Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. Due to Mike's leadership over the past year, Bike SLO
County's programs and operations are working well and being lead by passionate and exceptional staff. We plan on
starting a search to replace Mike in the over the next few months.
