Yes, it is so clear. Yet, here I am having to say it again because some on Council do not want to listen to residents who live in the area. Yes, they deserve to have parking on the street as nearly every neighborhood has. It really doesn't matter if your mindset equates this to 'storing your vehicle on public property.' A quick look at streets anywhere and everywhere shows streets are for driving-- and for parking. There are a number of us who care enough for other residents that we are willing to lend support when they are troubled. We know San Luis residents have a difficult time maintaining a sense of "normal" neighborhoods that most cities have and honor. This older part of our city has streets like Chorro that are narrow and heavily traveled. Lincoln has lighter traffic and is safer. Cyclists have timed Lincoln and determined it is one-minute 'slower'. Is it seriously more important for cyclists to ride fast than it is to maintain a sense of normal neighborhood for the residents on Chorro? If you act on behalf of these residents, you are being what is called "fair". You do so because you are "concerned" about residents and neighborhoods. You do so because you know the difference between right and wrong. Thank you for returning to the action of February 6. The "decision" made was clear to all whether or not it was a "proper motion". Everyone heard it and everyone understood it. That decision is the one many urge you to return to April 10th. It would be a way to demonstrate this city has a democratic government for the people. Thank You, Camille Small 1
