Dear Council Members:
As owners of multiple properties on Southwood Dr. and Laurel Lane, we believe that the road reduction of this
significant collector Road will limit access and create traffic challenges We have also heard about the proposed project
for workforce housing on Laurel Lane which is badly needed.
If this road diet is implemented it will have a detrimental affect on needed attainable housing in the city.
Please do not allow this to happen.
If it stays in consideration I urge you to postpone what has been in existence for 40 years plus. The postponement for
another year to see what improvements are proposed for one of the potentially most strategic residential property’s is
more important than urgency to reduce an arterial connection.
