Subject:Laurel Lane changes
First choice, leave the road like it is. Changing to one lane each direction will create bottlenecks. Everyday there is
somebody driving at 20-25 mph. Without 2 lanes everybody will be stuck behind them.
I need to drive that road at least 4 times a day, often 10 or more times.
If you are going to change the lanes, put the protected bike lanes next to the side walk and eliminate some of the parking.
Please make sure the left turn lanes are long enough to accommodate the traffic turning down Southwood for baseball
games and other events at Sinsheimer Park and Swim Center.
Also please make sure the left turn lanes for Augusta are long enough to accommodate the traffic turning down August
for Sinsheimer School each morning and afternoon.
Thank you,
Michael Berger
