HomeMy WebLinkAbout6/28/2018 Item 1, Dixon From:Zoya Dixon < To:Advisory Bodies Subject:Written Correspondence for Planning Commission Special Meeting for San Luis Ranch: June 28 Good evening Planning Commission, I am writing in regards to the San Luis Ranch Project located at 1035 Madonna Road and support the Specific Plan Amendment and changes to the Final Supplemental EIR. This plan has been a long while in the making, and housing prices, availability, and affordability have reached a definitive crises point. In our community, more thoughtful, well-planned, and intentional housing is desperately needed. As such, these changes to the FSEIR that would open up the market to a greater variety of housing types sooner is welcome. Measure J, which is a poor excuse for developing this land, does not align with our community needs, spirit, or future. It's time we passed San Luis Ranch plan once and for all and move forward towards thoughtful, well- articulated housing in our community. Please support this important project!
