Subject:We need more homes! Please approve San Luis Ranch
Esteemed Council,
I would urge you to quickly approve this planned housing, so desperately needed in San Luis Obispo. As Heidi Harmon
said recently, "If you're good enough to work in San Luis Obispo, you're good enough to live here." While both my
husband and I have good, full-time jobs in town, we would have to save upwards of $100,000 for a down payment to be
able to afford to purchase a house with our wages. If people cannot afford to live here, business will stagnate, tax
money will dry up, K-12 schools will close, and it will be a place only for college students, central valley vacationers, and
wealthy retirees.
We deserve and demand a more vibrant and diverse town! Please approve the San Luis Ranch project.
