Subject:In favor of SL Ranch
Hello:
I am a native of San Luis Obispo.
Although I have lived in SLO all my life, I am unable to buy a home here.
I intend to stay in SLO for the rest of my life and affordable housing could make that a reality.
I currently have a home in a rural area in North county, however I have worked in SLO for the past 16 years as an RN for
the State if CA.
The commute takes a toll on the environment and on my vehicle and everything I do (doctors appointments, eye
appointments, dental care, shopping, etc.) is all done in SLO.
I am looking forward to the possibility of eco-friendly housing, with bike trails, and organic farm-to-table gardening that
will benefit the residents of this development.
My father was an architect/artist who graduated Cal Poly in the 1960s and my parents have lived in SLO since the 1950s.
Thank you for considering this much needed development, wherein the first opportunity to buy will be those who are
natives of SLO and/or work in SLO.
Regards - Kirsten Augsburger
