Subject:Charcoal Blob on Santa Rosa & Marsh
Dear City Clerk,
Could you please see that this is distributed to the following bodies and any other individuals that may be able
to answer my question.
Thank you,
Linda White
City Council, Planning Commission, ARC, City Clerk
Over the past 18 months, I have been home in San Luis for only short periods of time. Each time, my car
is in desperate need of washing and I take it to the carwash on Marsh St. When going home, I continue to notice
that the massive, boxy, charcoal building at the corner of Marsh and Santa Rosa has not been repainted. This
occurred again today.
I thought that I either watched or attended a City Council meeting where the Council found that the
builder did not adhere to the approved exterior paint palette? Was I dreaming? What is the status of this
building? It seems, if memory serves me, that this developer has ignored previous rulings. It appears that he is
of the "Sin first and ask for forgiveness later" sect.
I don't know who to direct this question to so I am sending it to everyone in hopes that an answer will be
forthcoming.
Thank you,
Linda White
