Dear Mayor Harmon and Councilmembers,
This is Dr. Majid Poshtan, an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering at Cal Poly. I am currently renting a
house in SLO living in with my wife and our two children. I plan to live in SLO for a long term and need to buy
a home here. Considering the current housing market, I am not able to afford a decent house in SLO. I hope
you could help me by approving housing projects, like San Luis Ranch, to adjust the market for actual users
and not the foreign investors.
