Subject:Anholm Bikeway Path
Dear City Council,
I am writing to let you know that I am not in support of the City Staff's Alternative Anholm Bike way Plan. I live at 133
Chorro St. and this will directly effect my family. I am in support in making the roads safer for bikes but I believe this will
negatively affect driving in my neighborhood. As a property owner, business owner, mother of two and tax payer I
believe the final plan adopted by the city should consider cars and bikes alike. I think all the diverters, especially on
Broad and Chorro and the lack of parking in the neighborhood are a bad idea. Not to mention that the city is also
proposing parking passes in this area, which would be an additional hardship and inconvenience for our neighborhood.
Although there are upsides to living close to downtown, there are many downsides to it already. Please consider how
you would feel if it were your neighborhood. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Best,
Kannyn January
