Subject:Anholm bikeway plan
I live on Meinecke ave, there are small children in my house hold, it is already dangerous to back out of my driveway
because of the current traffic levels so any increase in the amount of traffic on my street is not acceptable to me. It
seems to me that a very simple solution to a bikeway going to downtown would be to have one way traffic on chorro
and broad. By just removing one lane you could simply repaint the lines so that there is a bike path without removing
parking or putting a physical divider. That way people could still park on the street and still access their homes
driveways. Why does it have to be this difficult? I have another home in Ventura it is being done that way there I know it
can be done here. Why is our whole neighborhood having to suffer for the bike path? You need to consider the people
that already live here and their opinion above the conviencies or wants of others who don't have to live with the
consequences of this bikeway.
