MOBILEHOME RENT REVIEW BOARD
3-6-85
MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairperson Swem, Barlow, Wright, Benson and Wheeler.
STAFF PRESENT: Henderson
Chairperson Swem called the meeting to order at 9:08pm.
Henderson apologized to the board members for the absence of City Attorney,
Roger Picquet. Presentation regarding reasonable rate of return will be
continued until next meeting of the MHRRB.
The minutes of the February 20, 1985 MHRRB were approved unanimously.
Henderson review meeting packet for board members.
APPLICATION FOR RENT INCREASE

Question for City Attorney...Can personally be omitted from Ordinance?
Insert "in writing" into Ordinance 5.44.070

list of tenants served.

INFORMATION ON RENTAL INCREASE REQUESTED
Boardmember Barlow presented a handout for review.
Comments by Charles Long and Leigh Willard on Capitol Improvements.
The Board adopted the Barlow handout with some minor revisions.
Staff was asked to update both documents.
TENANT APPLICATION
Some discussion on when application would be used. It is not an appeal of
MHRRB decisions.
Member Wheeler was asked to "draft" a tenant application.
Staff was asked to update Mobilehome Park survey.
An agenda item for down the road should be the "submetering" concwpt.
The meeting of the MHRRB was adjourned at 11:00am.
