As they say, change is good but not when it destroys the very reason people desire to live and visit San Luis Obispo (yes-tourism!). Out of town developers such as Jamestown will always present the most amazing vision of why their project is good for the community. I have yet to see “affordable” workforce housing happen in the downtown and that is typically the main focus. What I have seen in the downtown is an ever increasing darkness as our beautiful mountain views disappear along with the unique character of our town-not to mention increasing congestion and a parking nightmare. I have yet to find a majority of citizens in favor of more and more tall buildings downtown and am not sure who the "powers that be" are listening to. Please consider the domino effect and give the developers of this project a strong no when it comes to approving another 75’ structure in our downtown. Thank you, Carol Rich San Luis Obispo 1
