Subject: Tree Removal at 152 Broad
Hello Ron,
I live at 130 Broad Street, adjacent to Barry Jones’ property at 152 Broad Street. I am writing a letter of support for the
removal of his redwood trees adjacent to his house and driveway. Three trees have grown together, and are now
towering above his historical house. They are in contact with the roof, and are destroying his foundation and driveway
— the trees are sandwiched between the driveway and foundation and will only cause more harm as they grow larger.
We have many trees in our neighborhood due to the proximity to the creek, these are nice trees; however, they’re in a
terrible location and will only cause more hazard and havoc as time goes on. They have grown so tall that they now
block my solar array on my house in the winter causing my panels to be in the shade for several months. PG&E cut back
an adjacent tree and nearly cut it in half to accomplish power line safety, these trees are bound for the same fate if
Barry does not remove them. I wholeheartedly support his application to remove these trees, thank you.
