SUBJECT: Item #12 – Petition to Establish a Community Facilities District for San Luis Ranch
The purpose of this memo is to provide the City Council with the formal petition requesting
initiation of proceedings for the establishment of a Community Facilities District for the San Luis
Ranch project. The submittal of this petition is a fundamental step precedent to the Council’s
consideration of the resolution of intention and subsequent establishment of the district, as
described in the agenda report for this item (Attachment B, Packet Page 333).
