These housing units, like 71 Palomar, 22 Chorro and 790 Foothill, have the bogus "one bedroom" units with double doors and demising walls running down the middle (i.e., these are NOT one-bedroom units but two-bedroom units). As with the other three projects mentioned, the City is allowing the applicant to provide 19 parking spaces (and this based on the new city-wide parking reductions included in the Zoning Reg Update) when twice that number will be required once these demising walls are made permanent. This shortfall of on-site parking will end up on the city’s streets. Staff is imposing on you a virtual "gag order" suggesting that any comments you may make on this portion of the project, and more specifically on these bogus "one bedroom" units, is outside your purview. Please do not allow this to happen. 1
