Because this construction project is quickly going through the process of some kind of approval, I suggest the matter be postponed until more people in the city of SLO, South of the city of SLO, and the county proper have time to take a closer look at what’s being proposed. The expansion of the airport, increased building of industrial type buildings in the area, along with other proposed housing projects ( i.e. this one, San Luis Ranch, Avila Ranch and another senior assisted living facility on Los Osos Valley Road) have had and will further affect poor traffic circulation negatively, creating environmental impacts through air pollution, and noise. Traffic going North and South on weekdays is currently nearly a gridlock situation, and with the proposed construction of several round-abouts it will get worse rather than better. New home developments just being completed on the East side of Tank Farm will add additional traffic soon. EastWest and North/South traffic is at capacity already without additional construction projects adding to the problem. We need time to study the project and its potential environmental/pollution/noise pollution impacts. Tank Farm Road and Buckley road are quickly becoming more dangerous and cross town traffic is almost as bad as North/South. I would like someone to contact me so I can weigh in on the matter and get more information. Sincerely, Karen J. Krahl 5057 Davenport Creek Road San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 (805) 550-5358 1
