Correction to Solid Waste Rate Increase Key Factors Chart and Narrative On Packet Page 224, four Key Factors Contributing to Increased Solid Waste Collection/Disposal Costs are discussed. The final key factor listed describes a 0.82 percent increase for landfill tipping fees. This Key Factor is also shown in Table 1 on Packet Page 225. The 0.82 percent increase that is referenced is not due to landfill tipping fee increases and is in fact due to the net result of all remaining cost increases that are not represented in the first three Key Factors. The narrative describing the 0.82 percent increase for landfill tipping fees, referenced on Packet Page 224 should be replaced with the following: Other Increases to the Cost of Operations Minor cost increases in categories related to travel, utilities payments, office expenses, laundry services, and various other areas make up the remaining 0.82 percent of the rate increase. Increases in these costs are minor and reflect expected increases in the cost of conducting business. Following this correction, Table 1 on Council Agenda Packet page 225, should be represented as shown below. Table 1.
