Please share my thoughts. Dear City Council, San Luis Obispo Police Chief Deanna Cantrell is one of the most trusted, valued, and valuable members of our community. Under her leadership, she has given us a well-trained, well-informed, firm, compassionate and ready police force. She has reached out to all corners of the community for consultation, resourcing and education, making our city safer, more cohesive and happier. She brings to her role, to the force and to the community wise, strategic and strong leadership while at the same time being personable and humble. Her swift admission of her error illustrates her integrity. Her department's swift recovery of her firearm illustrates her competent leadership. Her openness to accept discipline illustrates her humility. I urge you to know that Chief Cantrell is a coveted asset to our community, and to ensure that she will long- remain the San Luis Obispo Chief of Police. Respectfully submitted, The Rev lan M Delinger, Rector of St Stephen's Episcopal Church. i r r ' i r i i , From: Susan Dressler< > Sent: Monday, July 15, 2019 12:07 PM To: Fr lan M Council Meeting, Tuesday, July 14 Fr. lan Others have sent me a paragraph or two of their own.
