Chief Deanna Cantrell
Under the Public Records Act, I am asking for your cell phone records and the records of all police dispatchers cell
phones, who discussed your gun on July 10, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. until 11:45 p.m. I am also asking for the copies of the
voice recordings of calls to dispatch from 12:15 p.m. through 3 p.m. on July 10, 2019 made by you or anyone regarding
your gun. I am also asking for a copy of your report to the stolen property system about your gun loss.
Is it correct a be on the lookout for officer safety was not made until almost 12 hours after you lost your gun? If so why?
Did you ask the dispatcher to call you back on your cell phone? If so why?
Is it correct your patrol officers were not informed about the stolen gun until after 7 p.m.? If so why?
Is it correct a be on the lookout was only made because of a sheriff watch commander's insistence?
Did your officers raid a home of a person you thought incorrectly took your gun, who was then arrested for child neglect
because of a dirty house?
Did you report to the federal government your gun was lost and not stolen? What time did you make your report?
Did you investigate your gun lost alone for the first two hours? Is that the proper protocol?
