MISSION: The purpose of the Active Transportation Committee (ATC) is to provide oversight
and policy direction on matters related to bicycle and pedestrian transportation in San Luis Obispo
and its relationship to bicycling and walking outside the City.

Comments are limited to three minutes per person. Items raised at this time are generally referred
to staff and, if action by the Committee is necessary, may be scheduled for a future meeting.
DISCUSSION ITEM
1. ACTIVE TRANSPORTATION PLAN BICYCLE NETWORK
(FUKUSHIMA –100 MINUTES)
This item continues the update of the bicycle network for the Active Transportation Plan. This
meeting will continue review of the southern area (see Bike Network Areas Map in Attachment
1). Committee members should also review pages A-93 through A-118 of the adopted Bicycle
Transportation Plan. If time permits, the committee will also begin review of the central area with
pages A-2 through A-18. For reference, the Bicycle Transportation Plan can be found at:

Bridge Street will require ground coring and trigger related
curb improvements, which increases cost. All four bollards
are solid concrete as opposed to typical hollow ones that
