NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the City of San Luis Obispo will receive bids for the “EL
CAPITAN WAY PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE REPLACEMENT Spec. No. 90254” at the Public
Works Administration Office located at 919 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 until,
THURSDAY, MAY 2, 2019, at 2:00 P.M., when they will be publicly opened.
Bids received after said time will not be considered. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope
plainly marked with the project title, contractor name, address, and specification number.
The Contractor must possess a valid Class A Contractor’s License at the time of the bid
opening. Every bid must be accompanied by a certified check/cashier’s check or bidder’s bond
for 10% of the bid amount, payable to the City of San Luis Obispo.

Bid packages may be obtained at the Public Works Department for a non-refundable fee of
$20.00 in person, $30.00 if mailed. City Standard Specifications and Engineering Standards may
be obtained for a non-refundable fee of $16.00 in person, $21.00 if mailed. Questions may be
