Subject: Oppose the extreme ban on natural gas!
Dear Entire Council,
Natural gas is a reliable, clean, renewable, abundant, and affordable source of energy that is dramatically less expensive
than the City Council's proposed all-electric plan.
As a resident of San Luis Obispo, I'm asking you to vote NO on the ordinance to ban natural gas from all new buildings
and homes, including a ban on natural-gas appliances such as stoves.
This extreme and expensive plan would strip away choices for San Luis Obispo residents such as myself while leading to
skyrocketing energy bills and potential trouble with the energy grid.
Again please vote NO on the plan to ban natural gas.
