Re: California Public Records Request Act for San Luis Obispo City Employees'
Association
Dear Ms. Purrington,
I represent the San Luis Obispo City Employees' Association ("SLOCEA') in all matters related
to hours, wages and other terms and conditions of employment. SLOCEA is presently engaged in
a personnel matter and as such requests records pursuant to the California Public Records Act
CPRA" or Cal. Gov. Code 6250 et seq.) SLOCEA hereby request the following documents 1 in
the City's possession, custody and control. This request extends to include all personally owned
electronic devices inclusive of computers and cellular telephone phones utilized during the
course and scope of official duties by the named City Officials' in this request.
1. All documents and constituted audio recordings in their native format of conversations
inclusive of voice mail messages in which the following agents of the City of San Luis
Obispo created, initiated or received since July 1, 2018 related to City of San Luis Obispo
employee Greg Zocher's employment in any way.

d) Isaac Shuck
e) Jake Hudson
I As used herein, the term "documents" means a writing, as defined in California Evidence Code Section 250,
correspondence and memoranda, including, but not limited to the original or a copy of handwriting, typewriting,
electronic messaging, printing, photostating, photographing, videotaping, digital audio storage, computer disk,
computer backup tape, and every other means of recording, as well as any form of communicating or
representation, including letters, works, pictures, sounds or symbols, or any combination thereof.
2 For purposes of this CPRA request, an agent of the City is any official that is a deemed a confidential employee
and/or first line supervisor up through the chain of command to department Head inclusive of all departments.

invoices its expense.
