Subject: New SLP REP site approval
Please approve the new site for the San Luis Obispo Repertory Theatre (SLO REP). SLO REP
enhances city cultural and economic goals. It offers amazing stories on stage, stories that bring
residents and visitors together to experience universal values of struggle, love, family and
forgiveness. It launches children in drama classes to connect with important ideas. Also, it provides
an entertainment alternative to downtown pub crawl and viewing bubblegum alley. The existing
structure is almost dilapidated and we have outgrown it. We turn children away from classes and
patrons from popular shows. As a board member I am committed to raising funds for a new home

and I expect us to be shovel ready in 2021. Thank you sincerely for your consideration.
