Subject: Please approve SLO REP Theatre project
I am writing to urge you to approve the project of SLO REP’s new theatre in the downtown cultural district. For the last
twenty-seven years and counting I’ve been closely involved with SLO REP Theatre, serving on the Board of Directors for
most of those years. I have seen first-hand the growth of this organization and especially of the children’s program, ACT
(Academy of Children’s Theatre). In a time of uncertainty in children’s lives, it is imperative that there is a place for them

to learn about getting along and being able to grow in a safe environment. SLO REP’s new home will enable us to more
than double the amount of classes we offer and students that we serve.
