Subject:Slo rep theatre
Dear Mayor and City Council Members,
I am writing to ask you to approve the plans for the
SLO/REP Theater Project at your November Meeting. The
theater and company are cultural jewels in the City of San
Luis Obispo. They serve all ages and provide our
community with access to musicals and dramas that we
otherwise would have to drive for hours to see in other
cities. And they have been in continuous production since
1947, one of the longest runs in the United States!
The SLO/REP productions enrich the culture in the County
and make downtown San Luis Obispo a destination for
tourists and residents all over the County. It is a win/win for
everyone.
