Dear Council Members -
My name is Alan Pietsch. My wife and I are both ex-professional dancers and actors and avid supporters of SLO
Rep. We urge you to approve the plans for their new theater. SLO Rep is an essential part of our rich cultural
community and one of the oldest. They have earned their reputation for excellence. They desperately need and
deserve a new facility to allow them to continue to improve the quality of their productions, as they have been
consistently doing the past ten years, as well as expand their educational programs. This new theater will help anchor
the entertainment core of downtown, helping the stimulate business for other downtown merchants and restaurants.
Please cast this vote for the future of downtown and for professional theater in San Luis Obispo.
