My family's home, is on what use to be, a quiet residential street in " Old
Town ", San Luis Obispo, Then the happv/smiley face people showed up. Insisting
on turning the backyards on our street into subdivisions; 1,2 and 3 units, later
the main houses into motels. Now our neighborhood can be described as, none -stop
noise,, too crowded and transient. !Ve have no idea who our neighbors are, 14le do
know their sexual habits, bathroom regiment, music tastes, phone conversations,
the drugs they smoke w- when exactly they are leaving/returning; because they
insist on honkin their car horn, everytime they enter/exit - their vehicle,
We have lost our privacy, no longer allowed a good nights sleep, cannot use,
our backyard and now have the parking equivalent of a San 'Francisco neighbor-
hood.
Then there is this issue, a creek runs throuvh our neighborhood, prone to
flooding with property damage, In order for the backyard developers, to build,
They need a creek setback 'variance, Plhich the City Of San Luis Obispo, gladly
hands out, The message being it,.is more important for backyard developers to
make a. buck then public sa�ety and enviromPnta.11y sensitive areas.
I am zuessing the residents of Los Verdes Park 1 Pi; 2, will never bP sadd1Pd
with granny units/loudmouth college student units,
