Architectural Review Committee,
I have briefly reviewed the ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMISSION REPORT for this proposed
development – some of the drawings were difficult to read due to the low resolution of the scanned
images (when I tried to zoom in, lettering and smaller text/numbers etc. were blurry). My initial
reaction was that the structure seemed very big and blocky – and seems more vertically oriented than
the surrounding houses (I live at 1131 Ella Street) – the adjacent houses which start closer to the
street, seem like the follow the contour of the hillside more than this one is designed to do. Being the
owner of the lot just below this proposed development I also have concerns about drainage, soil
stability and of course living next to a construction site where the only access is up/down a 20' wide
shared driveway.
